Marillac St. Vincent Family Services has been serving the needs of the poor and working poor throughout the city of Chicago for 100 years. Sponsored by the Daughters of Charity, we provide vital programs and services in the areas of child development, social services, outreach to at-risk families and individuals, senior services and youth programs.
The craftsmanship and care that go into these Hope Houses tell Marillac children they are loved, that people they don’t even know care deeply for them. This has a big impact. The houses also give them a safe and playful opportunity to just be kids, to forget about problems outside and to strengthen their imaginations. The message of Hope Houses is something we believe, that family is key, and our partnership is making a difference.
