Womentum is a pay-it-forward nonprofit crowdfunding platform for women entrepreneurs in developing countries. Female entrepreneurs in developing countries, unlike their male counterparts, can lack access to capital and community support. Donations enable entrepreneurs to make long-term investments in their businesses without having to worry about short-term repayments. A small donation, instead of a mico-loan requiring debt service, helps build community amongst entrepreneurs by allowing them to support each other through redonations. Womentum identifies suitable entrepreneurs through Growth Partners, in-country nonprofits and NGOs working directly with perspective women entrepreneurs. 100% of your donation reaches the women entrepreneur, Womentum raises funds externally for operational and transaction costs.

We’re excited to have a Corporate Sponsor in Hope Houses Workshop, Inc. because their mission is also about connecting people and building into the story of individuals. The theme of Entrepreneur Village, pretend play in a small town where people work hard and love what they do, is the vision we have for these women entrepreneurs and their families, and we’ll reach more of them with the work of Hope Houses Workshop, Inc.
