Cozy Chair
There are times when even an Imagination Angel needs a cozy chair and good book; today is one of them. Your dolls are going to love this chair…imported all the way from your imagination! Why not make a couple for living room set. Anybody can be a furniture maker now!
The Steps!

Here's what you'll need...an empty paper towel or toilet paper roll, some thick string, four nails for the legs, a bottle cap for the seat cushion and just a bit of fabric that makes your dolls cozy.

Let's cut the toilet paper roll first. The height determines the back of the chair, and the opening should be wide enough to fit your dolls. Use the bottle cap to help imagine the final shape.

Next, let's fold your fabric over a couple times to give your chair some cushion. Be sure the final folding is about the height of the cardboard you cut.

Now lets slip the cardboard up into the folded fabric. We'll glue the fabric to the cardboard, but before you do fold the fabric edges under to give it a wonderful upholstered look. Ok, time to glue.

Now let's cover the bottle cap....I mean seat cushion. Be sure to leave the edges long enough to fold under the cap.

A little fancy makes these chairs real cozy. Cut a piece of scrap fabric to wrap around the seat cushion - a nice finishing touch!

Now glue the seat cushion into the bottom of the chair back. You might use some heavy duty glue and a rubber band to hold this while it dries...but don't stop here. We need to install the legs.

We need to add the legs before the glue dries. Insert the nails, heads down, between the cushion and chair back. Be sure to space them so these chairs are sturdy AND cozy.

Last....make your chair POP with some accent piping. I found an old black shoelace to do the trick. Use glue to attach your piping and POOF, you did it! A chair so cute and cozy I may stop by your dollhouse for a cup of tea.

The finishing touch on cozy might be a wee size pillow or a tiny blanket. All this is making me...tired. Hey, is it time for a makeover in your dollhouse? Cozy up with these easy-to-do chairs and don't forget to share pictures with #UnlockImagination.
