Powder Room Sink

Here's what you'll want to find to get started...a single serve container for the sink basin. Think cream cheese or peanut butter...or even jelly at your favorite diner. I found a rigid cardboard box to use for the vanity, grabbed two small and two larger nails from the junk drawer and found two beads that will work splendidly as knobs. Now is a good time to paint your vanity if you like...white is an Angel's color so I'm staying!

First let's cut the opening to receive the sink basin. You can trace it then cut inside the line so that the lip of the basin rests on the surface. Careful now!

Next...bend one of your nails so it's flat end mimics a faucet. Two pairs of pliers might do the trick here, one to hold and the other to bend. The sharp end will poke into the vanity.

Find those beads and let's slip the other nails in so the heads can be glued to the bead.

Now arrange the faucet and knobs at the back of the sink basin. You can poke them through a whole you make, or maybe cut a small notch in the basin to hold them in place.

I have no idea what this wad of goo is other than a Angel trap...but it does work well to hold these things in place and cover up the sharp edges.

Every sink I've ever seen has a drain. Bend the second nail so it looks like and L and try poking the sharp end through the middle of the basin.

Now let's bring it all together. Slip your sink into the opening you cut in your vanity and hold it in place with some glue.

You must have some scrap fabric to make a towel and wash cloth. Maybe even a tiny basket for a garbage can? Position this in your space and POOF! You did it...a powder room vanity and sink. Now wash those hands and share your creation with us using #UnlockImagination
