Fanciful Felt Fir Tree
Felt makes lovely, soft branches for this easy holiday tree craft. No gluing required. Customize your tree with pretty pins for a fancy, festive look!
The Steps!

What do you need? Well, let’s check your sewing basket. Grab some scissors and colorful straight pins for starters, and then let’s find small rubber bands. An empty thread spool makes a fine tree base. The trunk needs a thin rod, pencil, or twig. The tree itself is made of green felt---4 circles, each about 4 inches wide, should do it. Beads make great bonus decorations too!

Cut jagged edges around the felt circles.

Cut slots into 3 of the circles.

Slip the rod through the slot. Gather and secure it with rubber band.

Repeat with the other slotted pieces.

Secure the top piece (no slot) with pins.

Continue decorating with pins.

Optional step: add beads by pinning to secure them. You can even add a star or other tree-topper.

Display in the spool. POOF! A fancy fir tree.

Now lets bring some Christmas cheer to your dollhouse or treehouse.
