Lid-le Headboard
“Now I lay me down to sleep…” One of our dearest wishes is for every child is to have peaceful nights full of wonderful dreams, every night. Bedtime stories and gentle tucking-in cost nothing but mean everything. Dollhouse bedtime routines are a way to practice those precious routines. Creative details can make it fun too, and here is a cute idea to dress up a doll bed.
The Steps!

Find a nice lid, perhaps from a coffee can, along with 2 thin dowels that are just slightly longer than the lid. You’ll also need 2 round beads for bedknobs and a couple more large beads or gems for decoration, plus a hot glue gun. A paintbrushand paint color of your choice are the final supplies and then we’re ready to start! Glue. Using hot glue gun, attach dowels to sides of lid and attach beads on ends of dowels for decorative knobs.

Paint. Paint generously using a primer that will stick or your final color. Keep it off your own wings and let it dry.

I chose a neutral blue to match my Merry House...almost time for a nap!

If you don't have a doll bed already, well your not far away now with a lid-le headboard. I'm using a doily from the basement as an elegant bead spread. How did you display your headboard? We’d love to see your results. Post photos using #UnlockImagination.
