Quick Cup of Joe
Here’s something for the dollhouse parents, or make it cocoa for the kids! A little mug of your favorite hot beverage will perk up your Hope House kitchen with real-life charm. Just add imagination and you can smell it brewing…
The Steps!
A plastic bottle flip-cap makes the perfect coffee pot. A little rummaging should turn up a spare chapstick cap for the mug and find a bead for the mug handle. Now all we need is some brown paint for the coffee/cocoa and a few handy supplies: paintbrush, glue, and wire-cutters. Right, here we go!
Paint coffee-pot. You can pretend its hot chocolate or tea if you wish, of course. Decaf, mocha, anything you like!
Fill your cap mug with brown paint. Careful, it’s hot! :-)
Break the bead in half; try using wire cutters or pliers.
Glue the bead handle onto mug.
