When I fly around I look at houses and wonder…who lives there, what do they love to do for fun?  When I see flowers in window boxes it tells me they want to share their brightness with the outside world.

Here’s a simple way you can share your brightness with the world outside your dollhouse.  Spring Window Boxes!  We’re making them in yellow and white, and any bright color or combination will do.  Look below for the easy up-cycle how to instructions.

The Steps!

These window boxes are among the easiest creation you'll find in the Key Holders Club.  You'll need a box that can be cut to match the general width of your windows and deep enough to hold your flowers - don't let perfection get in the way of progress here!  I found a soap box that adds a wonderful spring scent to this brightness!  Glue some packing foam or anything soft onto the bottom of the box that will hold your flower stems. Next, get to the bottom of that bread drawer and find twist ties, tons of them.  Green is nice because you can fold one end up for leaves, but any color will do...and thin wire works too.  Last, flower petals can be made from virtually anything that can be rolled and cut with scissors on a tiny scale.  Watch the video below now. I'm using tissues, and some old fabric in the closet may make nice roses later in the year. Have fun and don't forget to share your creations using #UnlockImagination!
